Working Group on Pharmacotherapy in Obesity

Czech Professional Society of Clinical Pharmacy has several working groups focused on various problems of pharmacotherapy. Only the Working Group on Pharmacotherapy in Obesity plans to translate all it's tools and reviews into English.

Working group on pharmacotherapy in obese patients works on review of available literature sources about pharmacokinetic alterations and dosing recommendations in obese patients. Moreover, we would like to gather the available information about drug absorption after bariatric surgery and other issues regarding pharmacotherapy of obese patients. The aim is to write a review articles on selected topics and recommendations for particular drugs. The first meeting of the WG was held on-line on 16th of February 2022.
